Aperol Spritz is from the 1950's. When we see it as new in Denmark, it's because the first appearance in Denmark was no more than 10 years ago.
Aperol is from the year 1919 in Italy where production was made by brothers. Aperol is an apertif made on Rhubarb, Gentian and Cinchona (Cinchona is an South American wood species).
Here are our cocktail recipe and a guide, so you without hassle can make it in your kitchen for your next cocktailparty

HOW TO MIX AN APEROL SPRITZ
Make sure you have all the ingredients. It will be difficult to make it without.
Start by pouring Aperol into your wine glass.
Now fill the glass completely with ice cubes.
Pour the Tonic in. Preferably measure. You should not use too much Tonic.
Next step is to top with Prosecco.
- Finally, garnish the cocktail. Cut the orange into slices and place them in the glass. Lightly press them so that a bit of the juice pours in the glass.
Now you just have to toast with your guests. If you have no guests to visit, drink it yourself. Cheers!

Cocktail tips from us
You can easily twist an Aperol Spritz.
Try replacing Aperol with Campari for a slightly more bitter Spritz.
You can also replace Aperol with Lillet for a delicious twist of elderflower.
Otherwise, you can also get different fruits down to your Aperol. Try with mint, lime, strawberries or something else.
Let it soak and then bring in ice, the tonic and then the mint. Then you can also name the cocktail after yourself.
